My Story So Far!

When i was 16 I left High School and started going to the gym to bulk up a bit.
By the age of 18 I was properly ripped due to working out pretty much everyday for a few hours a day.

As time went by I bought a house with my fiancee and due to finance and commitment to our home I stopped going to the gym and as a result I let myself 'go'

I only really noticed I had let myself 'go' at the end of 2010. It was snowing and I tried to put my walking boot on and 'No word of a lie', my stomach got in the way. :-D

As of January 2011 i decided I was going to change.
Lucky for me I have a 9am - 5pm job so I could easily get into a routine.

Firstly I changed my diet. I used to take 4 sandwiches, 2 bags of crisps, 1 chocolate bar and 2 Yoghurts. I didnt make the changes all at once, but one at a time. Firstly the crisps and chocolate went and I replace these for a small sized tub of carrot sticks. After about 3 months, I got rid of the crisps and replace with a large tub of fruit. I still kept the yoghurts but changed to Low Fat yoghurts.
I now pour this over the fruit and it tastes immense. :-)

Below is a picture of the lunch which I take 5 out of 7 days.

Throughout 2011 I also took some supplements daily to help the weight fall off.
I took:
  • 1 x Acai Berry (Super Fruit)
  • 1 x Goji Berry (Super Fruit)
  • 1 x Omega 3 (Fish Oils)
  • 1 x Ginko & Ginseng (Something to do with circulation)
  • 1 x Multi Vitamin
  • 2 x Glucosamine (For joints - I dont think these actually do anything for weight loss but due to playing alot of football, i have bad knees.)
If you do want to give any of these a try, the cheapest place on the web for the UK is www.simplysupplements.net

From January 2012 I started doing weights again and I noticed a vast improvement in my physical fitness and power levels. I now feel that I am on the right track to get back to how I used to be.

I will be posting an update after my workout and football tomorrow which will include one of my routines so please come back and have another read.
*Just to confirm NONE of these supplements are performance enhancing or steroids.*
*Also the feet in the 1st picture arent my feet :-D*

Thanks for reading
