Hello
Its been too long. Its at least 2 full weeks since i have been working out.
The reason is because there has been 1 or 2 massive changes to my life. 1st i have a new job and 2nd, if i workout on Mondays and Wednesdays, there is a chance i could over run and miss my football. Not good. :-(
I will have to see what the best days to train would be.
So far im on Tuesday, Fridays and possibly Sundays. I say possibly Sundays because it depends how lazy i feel. :-)
Anyway onto today
- Breakfast - Not had breakfast since i started my new job. Must still have "New Job Nerves"
- Dinner / Lunch - 1 x Cheese Barmcake, 1 Tub of Carrot sticks, 1 smallish tub of fruit and 2 yoghurts
- Tea / Dinner - Not decided what im having at the moment but i think i will end up having 3 x Cumberland Sausage and Chips (Deep Fat Fried) and Branston beans (Not Deep Fat Fried)
Beause i have missed a few weeks, to get me back into it, i have done a few of my favourites. I have recently been given some heavier weights so i had to have a go to see how i compare to when i was 21. Im not too bad except for i failed to do a single press on the Handstand Pushups. Gutted!!! I used to be able to do 3 sets of 10 easily when i was 21. :-(
Below is what i did, obviously not in the order listed.
- Bench Press - 3 sets of 12 on 56kg
- Bench Press - 3 sets of 20 on 46kg
- Jacknife Situps with Weight - 3 sets of 20 on 10kg
- Single Arm Dumbbell Stood up - 3 sets of 10 on 10kg
- Front Barbell Shrugs - 3 sets of 20 on 46kg
- Back Barbell Shrugs - 3 sets of 20 on 46kg
- Barbell Bicep Curls - 3 sets of 10 on 46kg
- Handstand Pushups - 3 sets of 0 [Gutted!]
I will decide over the next few weeks on an actual routine.
